Term three at youth group had us making billy carts with the Yarra Glen and Districts Men’s Shed. The Men did the hard work and assisted the kids in putting them together, each team created their own design and painted it onto their cart. On the 12th of September we raced them at the Yarra Valley Racing Centre with the parents cheering on the teams. It was a great afternoon, with food provided by Heartland Church. Funds for this event were provided by a Community Grant from the Shire of Yarra Ranges.
